Today is testing my ability to focus. I’ve been working on things for the next two weeks and my brain has shut down. Everything from the wind chimes to the birds chirping outside distract me from my to-do list. This is not good. I need to get these things done. I can feel my anxiety mounting as the minutes tick off the clock and tasks continue to go unfinished.
So what do you do when this happens? Pinterest of course! I found some good quotes and then the link to some grounding exercises. I found one that really struck me as a good one. Writing also helps me regroup. So I decided to take a break from my list and write about this quick little exercise that, along with writing about it, helped me find my focus.
